Related to Power Automate Desktop (version 2.51.344.24350): I wonder why %-mark or {-mark doesn't work any more when to refer variables. How to refer eg. list item?

Hi @JL-17121049-0,

Did you enable Power Fx on your desktop flow, by any chance? If that is the case, you might want to use an index function to refer to an item in the list.

Power fx was enabled but I didn't realize that index fx-function is available (I am just beginner with Power Automate).

Your link to examples helped me to solve my problem.

Now I can refer to data table elements ...... =Index(Index(DataTableVar, 1), 2)

I am still little bit confused.

There Anders Jensen is using %-mark refering variables (eg. see 25:37).

He is using %Emloyees[1][1]%. I wonder why this method doesn´t work for me.

I have tried to use also =%Emloyees[1][1]% but it gives me an error message "Parameter 'Value': Unexpected characters. Characters are used in the formula in an unexpected way."

When I use just %Emloyees[1][1]% it behaves like a text.

Great to hear the reference is working.

Regarding the video you linked to, that one is from 1 year ago. Probably a lot of the videos aren't using the Power Fx functions yet, because Power Fx has been introduced in the December 2023 release:
