Power BI - Automatically send email without button

ReportReport

Hi team,

I have a dashboard on Power BI to show a table of board aging days and some other details.
In my use case, if there is any board with aging days more than 30, an email shall be sent automatically to the PIC.
I already have a flow that could sent the trigger email, however, I need to click on the button manually.
Here's my current flow:

I want to remove the On Power BI button clicked to replace with another Power BI connector or trigger from below but when I read those actions' info, I am not sure which one is suitable.
Can someone advice me on this?
Appreciate the guidance and help, thank you

If you need this email sent on a regular basis, for example daily, you should instead use the trigger Recurrence:

And set the time interval as well as the start time (including the full ISO8601 datetime as noted in the example)

You can further configure this recurrence to match your PowerBI report's dataset refresh schedule, for example:

Note that you want to give your report time to finish refreshing the dataset before running your Flow, so check how long it normally takes to refresh the dataset and add that to the trigger times to ensure you're always working with the most recent data

    Hi @Tomac,

I tried to add Recurrence before, but I cannot use it. I don't know why because it did not mention any details.
Do I need to implement this flow on Power Automate instead, and not from Power Automate Visual on Power BI?

    - create a flow with a schedule trigger
    - add an action that runs a query against a semantic model

Based on the result of the query you can then decide to send the email or not.

I have added the action and my DAX query in Step 2.

But in Step 3, I couldn't find the Aging column to filter greater than 30 here.
    Am I following your instruction?

So far so good. You will have to run the flow once in it's current state and then grab the correct field name from the raw output. Watch out for extra square brackets.
