Extend flow to 45 days using Email with Options

Hi everyone.

I have a flow that needs to run 45 days that uses the Email with Options. This is due to email having to be sent to an external email outside of the tenant.

I have researched and found that it could be done using a Create and Wait for approval using the approval id.

When i look at the options for Email with Options, it only shows the below:

You've mentioned a few different Flow steps that don't necessarily have anything to do with each other.

1. Email with Options doesn't wait 45 days to send out an email

2. The Wait (Delay) step is able to wait a predetermined amount of time before performing the next action

3. The Approval flow sends out an email, and only completes it after the approver accepts or rejects a request.

What is the set up of the flow? What are you trying to accomplish?

I am trying to create a child flow that will extend the flow. The Email with Options approval needs to be available for 45 days which goes past the time the flow is available. Which we know is 28 days. How can i reference that approval in the child flow so that it can continue for those 17 days. The approval has no reference id that i can refer to in the child flow.

Hopefully that makes sense.
