SharePoint Library

Hi everyone,

I have a document library in SharePoint. I have shared a folder in the library with a specific permission group. The documents in this folder have a selection column. In the selection column, I can choose between public or internal. Is it now possible to set a rule that says. To stop the release for the above permission group when the column value of the document is internal.

Kind regards .

René

@RPOLACZEK  you can try creating a flow with trigger "When an item or a file is modified". Then add Get Changes action to check if the column value has changed. Using conditional action check value of the column is Internal, then change the permission of document using REST API via Send HTTP request to SharePoint action. Let me know if you need further assitance.

Thank you for your answer, but I think in my case it is a bit more difficult.

I have folders in my library for the countries Germany, France, USA and UK. For each of these folders I have a special sales authorisation group for the sales staff. Now, for example, if I upload a document to the German folder and set the column value of this document to internal, the flow should stop sharing this document for the permission group "Germany".

@RPOLACZEK  within the flow you can get the parent folder name to determine which group needs to be given the permission
