Receiving multiple emails when adding new files.

FLOW.JPGISSUE..JPG

When I add two files each person receives two emails with the same attachment. If I add three files, each person receives three emails. I have a filter so each person can receive only one email. I don't know why they are getting multiple emails. How can correct the issue. Thanks!

FILTER.JPGI have the values in my list Items. My original issue is when I add more than one file each person receives the same number of files instead of just receiving only one email each contact. After adding the Filter array by itself, I just copied all the information I had it before, but that created a new issue. Before making any changes to my flows, I was getting the file from the following flows:

    Compose 1. Attachment

    Compose 2. Attachment Array: Outputs(‘Attachment’)

Filter array 1. From: Outputs Attachment Array.  ----- item()?[‘Name’)

Can you double check that you have Name and OrgCode as properties of whatever you passed into the Filter array. It looks like items()?['Name'] either doesn't exist or the value is null.

It might be due to those values not being added to the list items and they're coming back as null.

issue with filter array.JPG1st step.JPG2nd Step.JPGI was able to have the Filter array by itself thank you, but I received an error when I tried to run the flow. The error is regarding the Filter array. I have two compose flows and one Filter array from my original workflow.

    Compose 1. Attachment

    Compose 2. Attachment Array: Outputs(‘Attachment’)

Filter array 1. From: Outputs Attachment Array.  ----- item()?[‘Name’)

My intention with this workflow it is to send emails with attachments to different people using a unique file name. I'm still learning Power Automate, and I can't find a solution to my workflow. Thank you for your help.

What are you using as input to your Filter array? It should be the value from Get items.

I Tried to create a new filter array after Get Items, but the "Apply to each" box was created automatically after entering the information.  How can I create a new filter array by itself. Thanks.

The issue is your Apply to each which you shouldn't have.

Straight after your Get items you would have your Filter array (not inside an Apply to each) that will filter your items.

You would then have your Condition to check to see if any items are contained in the Filter array using length (same as what you have).

And finally Send email using the output from the Filter Array (not from the Get items).

    So:

    1. Get items
    2. Filter array
    3. Condition - are there any items and if yes
    4. If yes - Send email

Effectively, you just need to remove your Apply to each.
