Actionable Emails

Hi PA Community,

Just a general query to find if people are having similar problems or if it's just me: my flow sends emails to action with an 'approve' or 'reject' and up until Christmas this has been working fine and I've been able to approve or reject from within the email; however, now I receive a HTML email that then directs me to PA and the approvals section. It's no biggy but I would still prefer to action from within the email rather than opening another app. Has anybody experienced something similar and were you able to overcome it? Point to note is that I have no control over my organisation updating O365 etc and to the absolute best of my  knowledge, I'm using the latest version of all apps including outlook.

Kind regards,

Simon

I just tried it out to see if anything has changed, but it still works the same for me. In Outlook on the cloud, I see one set of buttons, click one, and it says "thank you" and that's that.

In Outlook for desktop, it gives me 2 sets of buttons -- the top row just updates in the email, the bottom row takes me to the "thank you" page.

Is your scenario happening on desktop or cloud? Or both? I'm guessing desktop since you mentioned latest app...

    Hi @Rhiassuring,

Thanks for the reply - it seems to be happening in both. I had an actionable email come through just now, closed outlook, re-opened and it worked; however, this only happened for this one email, when I went to another it was back to directing me to PA approvals. I've tried re-booting, signing out, signing in etc and nothing seems to be working 😞
