Hi everyone,

I have a PDF file with 90 pages, and I used Power Automate Desktop to split it into individual pages. As a result, I got 90 separate PDF files, each containing a single page.

Now, I want to understand if there is a maximum limit on the number of pages Power Automate can split. For example, if I have a PDF with 500+ pages, will Power Automate be able to split it into 500+ separate PDF files without issues?

Is there any limitation on the number of pages that can be processed in a single execution?

I am not 100% sure but I would say no there is not a limit to splitting the pdf into 500+ files.

How are you doing the splitting? Since I don't think (correct me if I'm wrong) there is a dedicated action for splitting one pdf into many pages at once. Only "Extract PDF file pages to new PDF file" which creates only one file at a time.

Do you have a custom script for that or are you getting the number of pages with a script and then looping all the pages and using "Extract PDF file pages to new PDF file" -action to create the pages one by one?
If so then there is no limit to that. It might be time consuming. Only thing that might hinder you is if your machine would throttle with such high amount of PDF creations.
