Hi

Link to my original post: https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Building-Power-Apps/Language-problems-between-Powerapps-and-Flow/m-p/629699#M199644

i recently updated a flow with som new functionality, but instead i ran into som language problems.

When i activate the flow from powerapps, it fails.

When i resubmit the flow in Power Automate (no changes) it works.

I have found the cause, but i dont know how to fix it.

From powerapps:

if i press resubmit in Power automate.

When the flow is activated from Powerapps, the displayname of the sharepoint document library that i am extracting the ID from is in Danish. (Dokumenter vs Documents)

The error message:

I guess the resource isnt found, because there is no match when the language/spelling is in danish.

Since my original post in the powerapps forum i have rebuild the entire flow, with english settings, that didnt work either.

Why? and how do i fix it?

    Hello @UI1222

Previously, Microsoft Flow would automatically pick up your region and language settings from your browser. Now you can customize both the Language and Region that Microsoft Flow uses through the Settings menu.

Once you go to the gear and select Settings, you can choose from the available regions and then click save. The portal will be reloaded with your new options.

Once you set the region as above still see the same issue , try to logout and log into Power automate , check for the setting as above and try again to work .

Another problem has come up, there is a good chance its related. All my flows containing a sharepoint connector cant be added to a button i Powerapps.

its the same error no matter which one i add. Same problem if i create a new app.

everything was working fine last week.

    im stuck, and frustrated...

    @pre

While switching language like you described i can make the flow work using Danish Language and break it using English, and in some cases the other way around.

Ive found out that changing the translation settings in Sharepoint "fixes" the problem. Settings need to be "no translation" so it only uses one language. It has a few downsides. Some actions needs to be in English, some works for all languages. At least its consistent, and things work.
