Patch from Dropdown to SharePoint List (Lookup Column)

Hi Power Apps Community!

I need your help with Patch to a SharePoint Online List.

I have made Canvas App where I want the user to fill in information and then patch that information to a SharePoint List (Kontoformulär) and create a new entry. The Dropdown (BolagDropdown) is getting its values from another SharePoint list as you can see below.

You can utilize the "bolag" column with the selected title from the "BolagDropdown" like this: BolagDropdown.selected.Title.
For the column name in another SharePoint list, you can access it using the following format: dropdownname.selected.columnnameofanothersharepointlist.

Hi @samols ,

As I can see, you have not used .selected formula. You just entered the control name
Please try: Bolagdropdown.Selected

If you are using Lookup, then you need to paas it using schema:
{
Id:
Value:
}

Hi!

I tried to add .Selected.Title after BolagDropdown but then it gives me this error.

used this - BolagDropdown.selected.value
or- BolagDropdown.selected.result

bolag is a choice or record colm mans lookup colm kindly change that to text.... then it works fime

Hi,

You are totally right. The bolag-column is a Lookup column.
Is there any why to change the syntax in the Power App instead of the column you think?

I managed to solve this problem.

Had to add this syntax in the Dropdown Items:

And then in the Patch I added:
