I want to populate the Contacts table in dataverse with all users in AD.Is there an easy way to do this in power platform via one of the user interfaces, or do i need to create a flow to achieve this?It stands to reason that organizations would want all AD Users to have access to some power pages portals, so i was hoping this was a feature.
Hi
I'm not an expert on Power Pages/Portals but isn't there the already existing OOTB 'aadusers' table in dataverse you could use instead?
Kind regards
Gulshan
There is, the AAD Users table would be perfect, except for the fact that Microsoft does not allow its use in Power Automate yet.The below text is from the announcement for the release of the AAD Table:
"Important: AAD User is not currently available for Automate. This is planned for a future release.
https://powerapps.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/announcing-the-aad-user-virtual-table-find-and-add-any-aad-user-to-your-records/"
This is backed up by experience, when i try to even list records from the AAD table in a power automate flow it fails with the error:
System.ServiceModel.FaultException`1[Microsoft.Xrm.Sdk.OrganizationServiceFault]: AccessToken not found. Please make sure plugin is registered as synchronous and not called with app credentials.
So what is the workaround to sync Dataverse Contacts table with AAD (now Microsoft Entra ID) users?
