SharePoint: Copy File, Keep Metadata

Dear Friends,

I have built a simple Flow to copy a file from one SharePoint location to another.

The file is copied, however the Metadata associated with the original file is not present on the copy in the new location.

Any suggestions?

Thank you!

    Hi Dupont6,

Not sure how is your flow configured. Could you show me your flow configuration?

I assume that you are using the action “SharePoint – Copy file”. When using this action, please make sure you are entering the proper Source file path and Destination file path.

I have created a simple flow to test this issue on my side and it runs succeed.

Please check it for a reference:

    Thanks

I see this is for when a file is created, but is there one to copy existing files/metadata? I'm having trouble getting metadata to move from one folder location to another when I copy the files over.
