Hi all,

I am creating a flow that downloads email attachments into a SharePoint folder but am encountering the error below:

Action 'Create_file' failed

Action 'Create_file' failed
Error Details
Root folder is not found.
clientRequestId: b000dbee-00a4-4898-8ddb-4c74267d1beb
serviceRequestId: b000dbee-00a4-4898-8ddb-4c74267d1beb

I have already created the folder listed in the Folder Path field (***** automation project - *just for confidentiality)

The flow I am using so far looks like this:

Any help would be great.

Thanks

    Hi @Kambro,

Did you type the text in the Folder Path field or did you select the Folder path with the folder icon on the right?

Hi @Expiscornovus and others who might find this useful in the future,

That was part of the problem.

    1. I didn't realise the actual directory structure of the SharePoint site. The folders created in the SharePoint site are found under the Shared Documents folder: You have to click on the folder icon > Shared Documents > Automation project (for my case)

Hope this helps other users in the future.

Go to your file, click on the three points, then details, and copy the path.

GO to the URL decoder page, paste the path and decode it.

And copy everything between (blue) the SharePoint name (green) and the file name (red)

Paste this section (blue) including starting and ending "/" in the Flow step.

If anyone's here in 2024, I got this error because the person who triggered the flow did not have access to the SharePoint library. So it was a permissions issue. I added them and it started working again.
