How to remove the delay between steps

Hey all,

I'm a new user to Power Automate Desktop, and I'm noticing an enforced delay between steps:

For the flows that I'm trying to work on, the delay doesn't do much except slow down the flow. Any time I need a delay, I've added it using a specific step in the flow. Is there a way to get rid of this run delay? I've tried to set it to 1ms (the minimum), but whenever I run the flow the delay is still there, and when I open the flow up again it has reset to 100ms. I also tested increasing the delay just to see what would happen, and the same thing happened. In both cases, the changes would work as long as the window was open. After saving, closing, and reopening the flow, the changes would revert back to 100ms.

Any thoughts or solutions would be appreciated.

    Hi,

That's a default setting for running flows in debug mode, and at the moment, there is no option for you to change it, it is always reset when you closed and reopen your flows.

However, when you run your flows from main screen (without debugging), it will not have this delay. So, don't worry when running it in the real world.

Thanks and hope it can help you.

Just to confirm what you're saying, if I press the run button that you've highlighted, there shouldn't be any delay between the steps?
To test this, I built a simple flow with five steps, each moving the mouse to a different set of coordinates. I could see and register each step in the movement, which tells me there's some sort of delay between each step. Contrast this to the same steps done in Robotask, where there is no delay between the movements, so you really only see the last step.

i also wonder when this will be fixed, as far as i can see, there is a delay between steps in unattended.

have a flow that runs on 10 seconds in process robot, when rewritten and sets debug to 1ms attended, it takes 13 minutes, and the same unattended. in softomotive delay between steps unattended is 0
