Error After downloading the file unable to open the excel file

Hi Everyoe

I have a scenario of dowloading the file and save to some folder

when I tried to open the same file i am unable to open it.

manually I am able to open it.

and the error is

when I use get files from folder to fetch the file

the files[0] contains

C:\Users\name\Desktop\SpiceWorks Automation Workflow\Unconfirmed 772255.crdownload

I used wait and wait for file and if file exists but that did not work

please suggest me what to do?

why I am getting unconfirmed download even though it is downloaded and saved in the folder, able to open manually.

.crdownload file is a temporary file which cant be opened since the download hasn't finished. It should change to .xlsx file when the download has completed. When you used wait for file did you include the file extension so that it waits for the file to be .xlsx?
Can you share a screenshot of your flow?

Can you show more of the flow (not just one action but how the overall flow or this part of the flow looks like)? From your first pic seems like your Excel action is trying to open the .crdownload and not the .xlsx file.

So make sure that the Launch Excel -action also is trying to open the .xlsx file and not the .crdownload

I cant really find a clear problem there.
Does the Get files with Files variable return more than just that one file? Check that the Files[0] is not actually the .crdownload file.
Just for troubleshooting could you try using hard coded file path for the launch excel. So the same file path that is in your If file Exists condition. If so then the problem would seem to be the Files[0] variable.

Also not a big thing but I would switch the wait 5seconds to be after the Wait for file (steps 12 and 13). So that if PAD finds that file but its not actually completely loaded it will still wait for 5 seconds.
