Migrate OneDrive for Business to another OneDrive for Business account

Hi, Anyone can guide me on how to migrate OneDrive for Business to another OneDrive for Business account? Migration includes multiple subfolders.

I try the following

1. List files in folder (account 1)

2. Apply to each

3. Get file content (account 1)

4. Create file. (account 2)

unfortunately, when there is a subfolder, errors occur. So I try to insert a condition after Apply to each

2.a If 'is folder' is equal to false, continue to get file content and create file.

if 'is folder' is equal to true, create file with the new sub folder name.

But It doesn't copy all the files inside the sub folder.

* I have both accounts login access. no access issue.

please help.

    Hi @JacksonTeo

Do you have SharePoint Admin Permissions? I would recommend using Mover (SharePoint Admin Center - Migration) to migrate data from one OD4B to another/to a SharePoint site. You can just log in to the source and destination using the "OneDrive for Business (Single User)" connection (Make sure to name it properly) and start the migration. Not only will you receive a proper Log file, but you also do not need to struggle with other problems you would face, when using Power Automate. Power Automate is not a migration tool, that's why mover comes in.

On the first setup, you also need to give consent to the application within Azure AD, which requires permissions. Trust me, using mover in this case is much more efficient than using Power Automate or trying to fix this.

Does this help you? Otherwise please give me some more information.

    Best regards
    Marvin

For a while we used GS RichCopy 360 to migrate OneDrive for Business data to another OneDrive for Business account, and we found it to be a reliable tool for the job
Another solution , Try Mover.io , it is suitable for both individual and bulk migrations and helps preserve file structure and metadata.

If you want to do it manually, download data from your source drive and upload it to the target. For automated solution, you can use OneDrive Migration Tool. It will migrate all the data with the permissions.
