List Attachments in Word template show up as brackets []

Hi,

 

I'm trying to display a hyperlink to SharePoint list items that may have attachments with them but they are showing up as brackets when my Word template is populated. I currently have the absolute uri's stored in an array variable but I'm having no luck. Any suggestions I could try?
