Sorting is not working in Create Item

Hi All,

I am trying to create a flow which will create a sharepoint list as and when a file is updated on sharepoint. My flow is running successfully and able to create the list, however I noticed after created the sharepoint list data has not been sorted by ID.

Screen shot of the list created where ID is not sorted, I want this to be sorted in ascending order

Here is my flow

Is there any way to sort the data at the time of creating the list instead of manual sorting later on?

Any suggestion would be of great help.

Thanks

@saibal_78 I believe it's because you are using a text column not a number column. Your text column is sorting correctly. Is there a reason you aren't using the default ID column in your SP LIst?

    Hope this helps!

@saibal_78 That's the way SharePoint has always sorted numbers in a text column: left to right. You need to save the numbers into a number column instead. Then it will sort correctly.

The issue is sharepoint is treating SL No column as Title which I can't change and I need this field as a primary key.  Not sure how can I sort the dataset with default ID in the list. Do I need to write any script?

@saibal_78 you can't change the type of the Title column. So you will either need to display the ID column and sort on it then save the view, or you could create a calculated column with the formula set to your Title column and returning the data as a number, then sort on that column, save the view and make it the default view.
