I am running into an issue with Microsoft Forms where the Long answer toggle appears for Text questions but does not respond when clicked.
In my current form, all questions are set to Text, and the Long answer toggle is visible for every question, but it cannot be turned on or off. Clicking it has no effect.
Some additional context:
I have a Power Automate flow configured that takes form responses and automatically creates a ticket in Azure DevOps.
When I copy or duplicate the existing form, the behavior persists and I still cannot toggle Long answer on any text question.
When I create a brand new blank form and add a single text question, the Long answer toggle works as expected.
This suggests the issue may be specific to the original form or its question metadata rather than Microsoft Forms overall.
Has anyone encountered a situation where:
• The Long answer toggle is visible but non functional
• Certain forms or question settings prevent long answers from being enabled
• Power Automate, validation rules, or question labels such as email fields affect this behavior
