How To Exclude Filtered Values From File in Sharepoint

Hi. I have existing flow that imports data from a sharepoint folder when a new file is created.

However, I need to add a condition that excludes a value from the "Delivery Region" column in the file. The value is "Others". How do I add this to the flow? Appreciate any help. Thanks.

    Hey @Anonymous

Why not add a condition before that get items that delivery region not equal to Others

if yes continue do what you are doing and in if no, leave it blank

Hi @Sundeep_Malik thanks for the suggestion. I implemented but got an error. First screenshot showing the new added steps to the flow as suggested. Second screenshot showing the error. Am I missing something?

In SharePoint what kind of column is it (Text, Choice, ...)?

Hi @365-Assist , the column DELIVERY REGION is a text column.

Actually If I understand correctly you want to filter Delivery Region in the Excel File (Not SharePoint column).

If so try adding to the Filter in the Action List Rows present in Table.

Delivery Region ne 'Others' (You will have to adjust for exact syntax of the column)

Yes your interpretation is correct i.e. filter from Excel file.

So I added filter in the 'List rows present in a table'. Do I leave the other 2 steps before the 'Get Items'?

No I don't believe you need those steps.

Something weird is going on with the filter query - it's not recognizing the column name and keeps throwing error.

I tried Delivery Region as shown in Excel file and also tried DeliveryRegion but still same error. Also same issue when using all caps lock.

    Am I missing something??

The filter will not handle title with spaces in excel. You need to remove the spaces. e.g. DELIVERYREGION.
