Hello all!
I have a SharePoint List named "Endorsed Applications List" .. which has a column named "Training Links" that houses a URL with a quick hyperlink title, in this case: "Miro Academy" (circled in blue):
When I pull the data into my View Form, it pulls the address instead of just the hyperlink's title, "Miro Academy":
How would I achieve only showing the Miro Academy hyperlink, and when it's clicked it takes them to that specific URL address?
Thanks! 🙂
Is it possible to just put the text value "Here" as the clickable hyperlink, and the URL destination will depend on which item in the Gallery was clicked (values reflecting SharePoint List)?
Unfortunately, it's a known limitation that it's not possible to access the 'alternate text' value of a SharePoint hyperlink column.
There are some possible work arounds here (eg build a hyperlink using the title value as the hyperlink text). Hopefully, someone else here may be able to suggest some better solutions.
