Start a flow from within an E-Mail

Hi there, I am seeking for an idea, how to solve the following task:

I have a list “vacation planning” with the information who has planned vacation from to when.

Once the from date approaches, I want to send a reminder to the one who had planned the vacation. If his vacation plan is still valid the user should be able to trigger an approval flow (from that mail), if not a flow should delete the vacation entry from the list.

Anyone an idea how a solution could look like?

Hi Jeff, thanks a lot for getting back. I did set the concurrency already and the loop completes. However the process only finishes after all "decisions" were made by the recipients. Since every "decision" triggers actions, that the other decisions might depend on, I guess I need to ask users to fill in another form and than match the input with existing list entries. Thx again for your support. Best, Uwe

    Hi @UweGrunewald ,

It's exactly a good question. You can set Apply to each with concurrency turned on:

I am just about to test the solution and have a new "problem". As the reminder loops through a couple items, the loop waits after the first "Send email with options" was send. How can I do that in parallel. What if users do not respond with one day and the process starts again due to its daily recurrence?

Wow, you saved my day. I was unaware of the E-Mail with options action. Thy a million

    Hi @UweGrunewald ,

You can send an Email with options to the person who planned the vacation and let them choose every day. Based on the response, determine whether to start an approval or delete an item in the list.
