Create a planner Task in a newly created planner bucket from a form response

Hi There,

I am trying to automate a form response to create a new bucket in planner with a load of standard tasks.

I have created a bucket with the bucket ID being one of the form responses and i am trying to add tasks using the same dynamic content as the bucket name but it doesn't seem to want to work - the error is that the bucket ID cant be found (and i am guessing this is because it was created in the previous step). Apologies if this is really obvious but looking round the forum i couldn't find an answer. Any help would be appreciated!

Can you share a screenshot from your Flow design?

Please note Dynamic content is sometimes a bit buggy.

Oops! I reprocuded the issue, in my opinion it is a UI error.

I would suggest to try this workaround:

You are absolutely right, I've also tested my suggested workaround and is not valid anymore... ☹️

and it is extremely waird, assign Bucket Id via dynamic content used to work in the past, as explained in this post

Wait, wait, wait... if I add a 'Initialize variable just before the 'create task', now the Flow editor allows me to select Bucket Id from the Dynamic Contents !

...and it works on my side!

I'm encountering the same error with dynamic content. I tried converting the BucketID value into a string, but the problem persists. I've already created buckers in Planner for each multiple-choice response option with an exact character match. Screenshot - https://i.imgur.com/FvQlixg.png. Thank you for looking into this!

Sorry, not sure I understand your problem... 😞
