Simultaneous horizontal and vertical sort in gallery

Hi, I have data in SharePoint which looks like 1a, 1b, 1c, 2a, 2b, 2c, 3a, 3b and 3c and I would like to have a simultaneous horizontal and vertical sorting for example:

1a, 1b, 1c

2a, 2b, 2c

3a, 3b, 3c

Hi @mohdzahid, some questions....

Is all your data going to be exactly like that with 2 characters?
How is the data formatted for input?
How would you like the output?
How are you using the data?

Hi Chris-D
Those are actually labels in my SharePoint table. The tables are actually consisting of physics questions, topics, chapters, difficulty levels and some others. Those items will be displayed in a one gallery cell in PowerApps.

I want to sort the questions in terms of chapters (vertical) and also topics (horizontal)

ok so let me see if I've got this right. You have a table with (for example) column Chapter, which could be like 1, 2, 3, and another column Topic which could be a, b, c?

We could display these in a Gallery with this layout?

Chapter 1, Topic A, Topic B, Topic C
Chapter 2, Topic A, Topic B, Topic C
Chapter 3, Topic A, Topic B, Topic C

To sort by chapters, use the Sort() function in your gallery items property:
Sort( MyQuestions, Chapter);

Then you can position your fields wherever you like within the gallery.
