Hi how can I change the really long "on error" timeout for advanced "ccs not" found for instance? Looks to be a massive 10 seconds timeout as default.

Can you show me a screenshot of what you mean?
Normally you'd just type over the timeout value to change it.

Sure, here is a picture. There is no way of setting a timeout. The default timeout looks to be like 7 seconds. Which is a pretty epic long time, if you just want to skip to next if click has failed.
