I receive emails that tell me if a site is down, however I do not need to react to them right away unless 45min to an hour has passed and I havent received an email stating the issue is cleared, I'm trying to build a flow that would send a teams message and this is what I have so far, I cant figure out how to configure the flow to differentiate between sites, every email the subject contains the site name first followed by the status of down and or cleared if the issue is resolved.
Create a new flow in Power Automate. Use the "When a new email arrives" trigger and configure it to monitor emails from the specified sender and with the subject line containing "is down". Add a condition action to check if the email body contains the phrase "an issue has been detected". If the condition is true, add a "Delay" action and set it to 45 minutes. Add a "Condition" action after the delay to check if a new email with a matching first word and contains "an issue has been resolved" is received within the 45 minutes do nothing. If the 45 minutes expires with no email from notifications@notifications.com containing a matching first word in the subject line with "is cleared", add a "Post a message in a channel" action and configure it to post in the "Services General" group in Teams. Set the subject of the post to the subject of the email and the message body of the post to the email body. Note: You may need to configure the email connector and Teams connector in Power Automate before using them in the flow.
what else could I add to identify the first word of the subject line to be checked at the end of 45 minutes and if no email contains the same first word, then proceed to alert me with teams message. If a match is found with the first word and contains "is cleared" in subject or "an issue is cleared" in the body of the message?
