In my App, I have on the Title DEFAULT CARDVALUE-  Concatenate("MAIN",First(Sort('Scheduling',ID,SortOrder.Descending)).ID+10001). I am needing that when they open or submit that duplicates aren't entered.

On the Submit Button: Refresh('Scheduling');UpdateContext({VarSchedulingIDNew: true});UpdateContext({VarSchedulingIDNew:false});SubmitForm(Form1);ResetForm(Form1);Navigate(StartPage);Refresh('Scheduling')

Then on the Form RESET: VarSchedulingIDNew

HELP Please!!

Please let me know what is the issue you are facing

one suggestion i can give you is tilte DEFAULT CARDVALUE- use a variable and set that variable to Concatenate("MAIN",First(Sort('Scheduling',ID,SortOrder.Descending)).ID+10001) on submit button submission just before submitform()

Please click Accept as solution and Thumbs Up. if my post helped you solve your issue. This will help others find it more readily. It also closes the item. If the content was useful in other ways, please consider giving it Thumbs Up.

If you are using SP Lists then you can take advantage of the ID column which is guaranteed unique for each row. This concat to another substring will give you a unique id every time. You can also use datetime timestamps as those will be unique as well.
