Post as bot in chat or channel - error

Dears,
Via a flow, I created a process to extract zip file directly from the Sharpoint interface via a sharepoint trigger.
Unfortunately, if the zip is to heavy, the extraction is aborted.
In that case, I would like to send a message via Teams to the user.

In "Post a message in a chat or channe" I use the username field of SharePoint trigger.
But when running the flow, there is a message error.
Does anyone have an idea why ?

I tried also to go through a "get profle 365" but the problem move to this step.

Thank you in advance for your help

    Hi @MJKjoachim ,

To fix the issue of sending a Teams message when a large zip file extraction fails in SharePoint, use this steps.

Create a trigger for when a file is added or updated in the specific location where zip files are uploaded. Check if the file is a zip file and if its size is larger than a certain limit.

Instead of using the username field from the SharePoint trigger, use the "Get user profile (V2)" action from the Office 365 Users connector. Use the "Created By Email" from the SharePoint trigger to get the user profile.

If the file is large, use the "Post a message in a chat or channel" action from the Teams connector. Use the "Mail" field from the "Get user profile (V2)" action as the recipient.

Mark as solution if it helps.

    Thanks,

    Sandeep Mishra

    Hi @sandeepstw ,
    Thank you for your answer.
Unfortunately, I already tried this, and the error is now popping out from this step.

My point is I don't understand why the username from the trigger cannot be used as "username" for other steps.

If you have any idea of the root cause, please let me know.

    Thanks,
    Joachim
