Clickable external website link in file explorer

I am working through a flow that works fairly well so far - I just want it to have some functionality through a shortcut in File Explorer to make it easier for people to use if possible.  The action "create a new file in sharepoint" generates a unique link to an external website incorporating one of my inputs from a power app.  It works perfectly to access the unique link through Sharepoint, but the link does not work in my shortcut to the parent folder in File Explorer.  I can see it - it just gives me an error that "the url "" is not valid."  Apparently creating the link this way does not seem to update the file's properties with the unique url, at least not in a way that is visible to File Explorer.  I would appreciate any tips on whether/how to make the resulting link usable through file explorer.
