Editing Entitities.json to Automate Layout

I've been working on the tablet layout of a table with 140 fields.  It is taking forever since I have to individually modify each datacard.  I'll manually complete this one but I'm looking for ways to automate this.  I looked at using Selenium.  I use it a lot for automating  web tasks.  I just don't think it would be reliable.  My other idea was to directly edit the powerapp Entities.json file (append .zip to app and unzip).  I loaded the file in Visual Studio and reformatted it.  It seems very doable.  I've never worked with JSON parsers so I'll need to learn that.

Question:

Has anyone done this?

If so, what is your experience?

    Hi @mogulman,

140 fields is a lot. Is this table configured to be relational to other tables? If not, I am thinking that restructuring your data into multiple tables with identifiers and relationships will be a best practice to resolve this.

Thanks for the response.  It is a relation db using SQL Server.  It tracks a very complex process so a majority of the fields are bit (boolean).  Dividing it into multiple tables does't solve the problem.  I would just have to format 2 screens.
