Calling an Azure Function from Power Automate (HTTP) in an environment integrated with a VNet

Hi,
I do have some cloud flows calling Azure Functions from Power automate, using the HTTP connector.
We have now integrated VNT into the Power Platform environment, and as per documentation the HTTP connector doesn't work.

Could I use the HTTP preauthorised connector to call the Azure functions, or the only option would be to create a custom connector?
The HTTP preauthorised connector documentation states the below, so not sure at 100%

This application includes preauthorization for various Microsoft services, including but not limited to Microsoft Graph, SharePoint, and other Microsoft offerings

In this case you are going to need to use a custom connector.

Do you plan on hosting your Azure Function endpoints in a private network on the same vnet?

Thanks Michael, yes they will be in the same Vnet.
Is there any technical reason why HTTP preauthorised wont work?

The connector itself is limited to microsoft services, which will have built in pre-auth.

In your case that is not possible to make happen and therefor even on the same vnet it won't matter, its a limitation on the connector. ITs intentional

    Thank you!
