Hello,
I am unable to import a flow from a package file due to an issue on the "Review Package Content" screen. The interface is not saving my connection selections, which prevents the import from completing.
Goal:
I am trying to import a scheduled flow from a definition.json file. The flow uses SharePoint and Office 365 Outlook connections.
Steps Taken:
-
I created a template scheduled flow in Power Automate.
-
To ensure the manifest would be correct, I added a SharePoint ("Get item") and an Office 365 Outlook ("Get my profile") action to this template.
-
I exported this template as a package (
.zipfile). -
I unzipped the package, replaced the
definition.jsonwith my own, and correctly re-zipped the contents (manifest.jsonandMicrosoft.Flowfolder).
The Problem:
When I upload the final package, the import screen correctly shows the flow and the two required connections (SharePoint and Office 365). However, when I try to configure them:
-
I click "Select during import" for a connection.
-
I choose my existing connection, or I create a brand new one by signing in.
-
The red icon briefly disappears and then returns as a grey box with an 'X'. It never turns into a green checkmark.
Because the connections won't map successfully, the "Import" button remains greyed out or fails with a PackageFlowMissingConnectionMap error if I am able to click it.
Troubleshooting Already Performed:
I have already tried all of the following steps, and the issue persists:
-
Used different browsers (Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome).
-
Used InPrivate/Incognito mode for all attempts.
-
Cleared all browser cache and cookies.
-
Deleted the SharePoint and Office 365 connections from my account (Data -> Connections) and created fresh ones during the import process.
It seems to be a UI or platform bug where the selections are not being registered. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a known workaround?
Thank you for any help you can provide.
