Preventing a flow to execute on the same item/email

Hello,

I have set up a flow on my team's shared mailbox. Whenever an email is sent to a particular DL, it triggers the flow - to create a Jira request. This unique value in the email is the 'Subject line'. Which will be different anytime a new email is sent to this DL. However subsequent replies to the original email with the same subject also trigger the flow. How can I avoid/restrict a flow to only trigger once based on the subject line?

Hope my question is clear.

Thank you and I am looking forward to the flow community in helping me understand a better way to build this flow.

Regards,

Kush_ks

    Hello @v-xiaochen-msft ,

I don't think I am clear about this. I tried doing the above and am unable to set it up. I was also thinking perhaps I could make use of 'message ID' which is unique and the subsequent replies contain the original message ID which perhaps I can apply a step to look for and omit if it contains the same message ID.

    Thanks.

    Hi @kush_ks,

try to use ConversationID.  Note to retrieve it you have to execute a GRAPH request.
