I’ll start by saying I have 0 experience creating flows or using power automate, lol. I’m trying to see if what I am thinking could be accomplished with power automate/flow.
I need to create a few office 365 distribution lists pulling contact info from our CRM.
Here is what I am thinking.
- We build a script that updates a SharePoint excel file with the contact information from our CRM.
- Use Power Automate to look at the excel file and create O365 contacts with the information; we would have a custom attribute included for the contact. I also would need the created contact hidden from the organization.
- Create a dynamic distribution list to pull in all the contacts with the custom attribute created in step 2.
I can handle and automate steps 1 and 3 but getting the contacts created, updated, and removed as things change is the part I am not so sure about. Is something like this possible with power automate/flow?
