Simple Approval Flow - Sharepoint List

Hello,

We recently were enabled with Powerapps+Flow for Gov 2 months ago. I am testing through some functionality and decided to test out the approval flow template.

I setup the flow to monitor a sharepoint list from cloud and then kicks off the approval process when a new item is created on the list. The trigger works fine no problem. When moving to the approval step it stalls indefinitely and the timer spins indefinitely (multiple days). Is this something that the community can give tips on or should this belong with Microsoft support as this is a fairly simple flow process. The issue definitely lies with the approval workflow step.

Any ideas appreciated.

Thanks

    Hi @JasonK ,

The reason for time spins is by design. Flow is waiting for approval. It has sent the request out for approval.

Whenever an item is added to your SharePoint list, or if an item changes, your flow triggers and sends approval requests to all approvers whom are listed in the Assigned to box of the Start an approval card. Your flow sends approval requests via the Microsoft Flow mobile app and via email. The person who creates the item in SharePoint gets an email that summarizes the results, clearly indicating if the request was approved or rejected.

If you may find this useful then please accept this as solution.

    Thanks
