In Power Apps studio, is there a way to turn off the comment button?
Hi , @wPearb
As i test it in my side , this is the new version UI updated. If you do not want to show this icon, you may try to convert the app version in your side.
And currently , i have found no method to close this feature. You can also post your idea to :Power Apps Ideas · Community

Saw this yesterday for the first time too. For such a dynamic platform with so many options, when designing our canvas apps, could you please just add the property of visible to this item Microsoft. We do it for our end users. Please do this for yours. I'd suggest a simple toggle button to turn off with a note as usual that this can be turned back on in Settings per app. (Sorry this is like telling you to suck eggs, but someone has to).
I don't have that option. Thanks for your response.
I agree, this is extremely annoying and intrusive. Also the popup at the top of galleries. Gets in the way of anything you have at the top of the gallery ☹️
Agree 1000%
Of the hour or so I might spend working on a complex gallery, these 3 fields represent a total of about 1 minute of the work. If instead there were buttons to arrange the components I already have in the gallery (ie allign all of them, make them evenly spaced etc) or even an insert components button that would be much more useful
Oh , this is strange ... But for this feature, it's a new version of the UI, and there is really no entrance that can be turned off for the new version.

And you can try to see if you can restore to a old version of your app to try:
Thank you for the suggestion, but it didn't work because I'm using sp custom form and it has a single app version only.
This stupid "Comments" tag falls under the general category of Microsoft assuming all end users are idiots and need to have things shoved in their faces so they learn to use the feature.
I support the ability to turn this off as well as the stupid pop up with ideas that simply get in the way.
I have tried to turn this off but cannot find a way to turn the annoying comments pop up off. This is even worse when the gallery comment and thing pop up.
Please give us a way to TURN THIS OFF Microsoft! It might be something that's useful to turn on when CO-EDITING is FINALLY enabled but right now it's just a distraction. . .
