Add approval stage dynamically in Power Automate

Hi all,

I'm looking for a solution for following case and just FYI I'm using SharePoint list as data source:

I have a approval process lets say 'Expense Approval" and it has 2 stage approval. When employee submit request then it goes to

1. Manager

2. Accounting

Now I can configure Power automate flow to have 2 approval action for MANAGER and ACCOUNTING.

There will be a case in future that more approval stages will be required like HR, Accounting etc... stage will be added in between so the stage looks like

1. Manager

2. HR

3. Accounting

4. Payroll

So Is there any way in power automate we can use approvals based on the stages. Suppose I maintain a Sharepoint list of stages in that I have 4 stages for 'X' forms and and based on the how many stages are there for X forms, my approval action increase/decrease.

Let me know the possibility for this.

Thank you

@swaminawale  Use switch action in your flow and for each case design approval stages.

Storing the approval stages in SharePoint and associating the approval ID under the appropriate column the approval is currently in should allow for you to use a single flow with a switch (or multiple independent flows if you'd like to keep it clean) and meet the goal you're looking for. In the expense approval example, you could even incorporate additional stages based on the approval amounts (pending how far you'd like to take it). Much opportunity here
