Hello,

I have a edit form in my app and I also have a gallery in which I am pulling a document library they both come from the same SP site and my edit form has a attachment datacard. I want the user to have ability to open an document from my vertical gallery/document library and when it opens up and its filled out once they hit save it should save it to that edit form/SP list as an attachment. Can someone help please !!

    Hi @Anonymous ,

You need to use a flow to save files in library to a list item as attachment. Remove the Attachments DataCard from the Form, add a custom card where include a Label to display the selected file names. OnSuccess of the Form trigger the flow as follows:

    In the app:

    1. add selected files to collection

    2. Use custom card and Label to display file names:

    3. trigger the flow OnSuccess of Form:

    That's all. Hope this helps.

Thank you for getting back to me how do I get the file to add to the gallery and I am little confusion on the flow as well do I need to create the flow first or the datacard ?

    Hi @Anonymous ,

The Gallery I used in the screenshot was listing SharePoint library files. This should have been done in your App based on your description. The edit form connects to a list, and the flow is bound to OnSuccess property of the Form, so only when the new list item is updated in the list successfully, files then would be added into item attachments.

    Best regards,
