Data extraction only from 1st page Prebuilt invoice processing model

Invoice processing model extract net amount from first page instead from last page which is cumulative number of all pages total.

Example:

1st page total = 100

2nd page total = 100

3rs page total = 100

Total 300 in last page instead Prebuilt model extracting from 1st page as 100, pls assist

Have you checked if both Amount due and Invoice total return the wrong value?

You can use the Page parameter to specify which page the AI model should process: Use the invoice processing prebuilt model in Power Automate - AI Builder | Microsoft Docs

Hi Joe, once again thank you becoming a savior for me. Yes I am aiming to do complete E2E automation of invoice processing.

Yet to check the difference between amount due and invoice sub total, because sub total extracts net amount and invoice total gives gross amount.

I am not sure whether page number I can give because not all the information will be available in the last page, apart from amount all other information available in first page.
Pls assist Joe.

Hi JoeF-MSFT,

Awaiting for your response.

I have Gross amount of the invoice which is invoice total

Net amount which is sub total of invoice excluding tax

Now this net amount available in every page of the invoice as total of that page and in last page it has sum of all the pages. Invoice processing Prebuilt model extracting first page total for net amount and not last page. Pls guide

Hi @DML1! Did you have the chance to check if both Amount due and Invoice total fields from the prebuilt model both return the wrong value?

Yes I did Jeo. No data extracted by Amount due, it's null.

Arg, that's unfortunate! Thanks @DML1 for confirming. I see two options:

Handle that invoice with a custom form processing model.

Iterate the invoice page by page and capture the total on the last page. The following cloud flow template shows and example on how you can iterate a document page by page with AI Builder. https://flow.microsoft.com/en-us/galleries/public/templates/59284c1735b745dda07032720f31de47 Replace the 'Extract information from forms' action by 'Extract information from invoices' action. Capture the total amount in a variable in each iteration of the Do until loop, and in the last iteration you will have captured the amount from the last page.
