gateway installer not running

Hi,

I am trying to install a local gateway on my PC for use with Power Automate.

However, the install program is not running. Installer from link https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/data-integration/gateway/service-gateway-install

Running as administrator or setting my personal account with permissions to run as service or running in compatability mode all have no effect. I have downloaded several times.

Any assistance would be great thanks.

Hi Mark,

Downloading and running the gateway in the article you mentioned it working for me. It seems to me that there is something on your organization or computer is preventing this from running. I am guessing that since it is an exe it is likely that your company is blocking it from running. I would double check there first.

@Anonymous Rezac Hi,

This was the first thing I checked. Firewalls, policy etc.

I discovered that if I use a None local account it will not run, but a local account on my computer it would. No idea what it causing that. Colleagues with same set up have not had same issue.

Confused.
