Dataverse returns nothing in Power Apps canvas app

Whenever I try to utilise the data returned by a Dataverse connection the app just shows that it is working in the background (dots sliding across underneath banner) but nothing is ever returned. My data usage is well under 1GB and all other connections I've created (SQL Server, Sharepoint, Excel) work just fine.

I say utilise because if I refresh the Dataverse connection it works in milliseconds. It's when I try to display the data via a gallery, for instance, that it all goes wrong.

Note that if I subsequently delete the gallery, and the Dataverse connector, the app still shows that it is working on something in the background!

I would close the PowerApps editor and reopen after clearing your browser cache. Also, you can try to load the data into a collection and user it for your gallery data-source (Items) property.
