Hi,

I am new to Microsoft Flow and to this forum.

I have tried with 'Get items' to get all items from the list, but I would like to filter it and to obtain just one of the elements in this list.

I have also tried with Get item, but I'm stuck because I don't know how to obtain the ID of the item I want from the list

How can I get the ID of an item from a list?

Any help would be appretiated.

Can you provide a bit more explanation about your goal in writing the Flow. The answer will depend on exacty what you are trying to accomplish. Do you want to run your Flow on a schedule or when an item is created, changed, etc? The more information the better.

I have this list:
I want to get the item of ID 23.
This item was created previously in another flow.
After getting the item, I want to update some of its fields.

I have tried to Get the item with 'Get item', but I'm stuck because I don't know how to get its ID.

I have also tried with 'Get items' to get all items from the List and filter them by e.g. the reference number value, which is the same for a document in another library, linked to this list:

Both methods did not work.
I don't know how to get the ID of a particular item in a List.

Thanks for the additional information. What will trigger your Flow?

Do you want to select that item in the SharePoint interface and start the Flow? Do you want to update this list item when an update happens on a related item in another list? Do you want to loop through all list items on a schedule and update items that meet a certain criteria?

Let me know how the Flow will be trigger and I will provide an example.

Hi @Anonymous,

If you want to get a specified item via Get items, you could configure Filter Query.

If your judgment condition is to an item which item ID is equal to 23, you could configure "ID eq '23'" and then configure the output ID in Update item action, like:
