Sending an approval e-mail failure

Hi

 

I hope someone will be able to help me.


We have a power automate flow that sends an email for approvals.

It’s working perfectly in picking up e-mails with xxx@xxx.co.za (country with head office- South Africa ) but failing on support sites in different countries with xxx@xxx.co.bw(Botswana) & xxx@xxx.co.na (Namibia)

 

May I have assistance on sorting it out to be able to send e-mails to these other domains.

    Hi @Masotya 

     

    Currently starting an approval from users outside the organization are not supported in Microsoft Power Automate. Here is the similar request at ideas forum, please vote it at here.

     

    Allow for external, non-outlook accounts to submit... - Power Platform Community (microsoft.com)

     

    A workaround is to create a guest account from your Organization for the external users, then the external users could access your flow within your flow environment. Please check this doc on adding a guest to a team  for more details.

    I don't think you can send approvals to external users who are not the same tenancy. If you need to do this, you will need to set-up the external users as guest users in your Azure Active Directory and assign a valid Power Automate license: See: Known issues and limitation - Power Automate | Microsoft Docs
