Hi, everyone,

Can anyone help me in finding a way to revise the notification if a user registered with an existing username? Please see screenshot below. Thank you.

Hi, the username has to be unique, can you make sure that is unique?

Also, please note that Microsoft recommends that we use Azure AD B2C as authentication provider, and not local authentication

Hi Oliver, yes the usernames are unique, however, as you can see I renamed the username as TIN/Business Registration No. My question is, when a client places a similar username in the system, can the notification be the TIN/Business Registration No. "xxxx" is already taken instead of the username "xxxx" is already taken.

    Thank you.

You will need to apply JS to change the "username" label. You are probably already using JS to change in the control level, so you can add logic to change the error message as well

Ah, okay. Copy on the idea re error message. I'll look for it. Final question, is the error message a content snippet? Because I cannot see all content snippets for some reason. Thank you.

No, I checked that from the old ADX source code but it is hardcoded.

Ah, okay. I don't have experience using JS, only HTML. But I'm taking classes though and still learning. Thanks for the info.
