Can Power automate and Forms be used for event booking?

I would like to create a system for people to select and book on a series of events we are running.  We need to have multiple events available to pick from, but then the user can either only see ones that have spaces left on them, or can see hoe many spaces left, or get a no spaces message.

Ideally then the user will get a calendar invite to add to their calendar.

And then hopefully all these bookings are stored either in a Sharepoint calendar or outlook so we can see who is attending when.

Is this possible in power automate perhaps using flow to get the data?

    @timdeville Microsoft Forms is not advanced enough for this and all you could do with it is to book an event, not see how many spaces were left as it can't pre-populate data or bring back data while a form is being completed.

    Assuming the users are all within your organisation then to build an app for your requirements you'd need to use:

    1. SharePoint for the event and attendee lists;
    2. Power Apps for the form and to display how many spaces were left on each event and with buttons to make a booking if there is still space; and
    3. Power Automate to add the calendar entry, send the confirmation email, save the booking and attendee details into a list and change the number of available spaces for the event.

    If you've got external attendees then you'd need to ensure your SharePoint lists were available to external users and the Power Apps app had been shared externally as well.

    It's quite a time-consuming app to build, particularly if you are not familiar with Power Apps.
