Why doesn't this continue to loop

I have this flow that has a do until action. I want to loop as long as the Status value doesnt equal CLOSED. After testing it, the loop only runs once. The status value before it reaches the do until action is PENDING and once it reaches the do until loop, there isn't an action that will change this value. This loop should continue to run from my understanding but its not doing that. Where is my error?

    Hi,

Power Automate shouldn't be built the same as how SharePoint Designer would have been. So your question isn't really applicable to what you need to be doing in your scenario, in my opinion.

What you want is for the flow to trigger when the status is not equal to closed. Previously, in your other thread, you were setting it to "null". Have you changed that? And, as mentioned in the other thread, your conditions should instead be a switch - the Email Tracker status will only have one value at a time.

Set the "Trigger Condition" (in the settings of your very first trigger action) to only run when the value is not equal to Closed / Null (as mentioned in the other thread as well). Then it will trigger every time the item is updated, but only run when the condition is not equal to closed or null or whatever you want to not trigger on.

You can also use the "Get Changes" action right after the trigger to identify if the EmailTracker / Status has changed, and then terminate if it hasn't - no sense in looping or taking any other action until something has changed.

Just an fyi, this is a different flow. Its not the same flow from my other question.

I didnt realize my condition was being met which it caused the loop to stop after one run.
