Hi

I am performing a action for keying some text in a excel restricted access popup when I enter text using send keys PAD misses out few characters while typing. Is there any workaround for this issue ?

I have the same question (0)

    - Check with "Delay between keystrokes"

    - another option to enable "Send Text as hardware keys"

    - try with either separately or a combination of the above two

    Steps as follows :

open any excel > click File > click info > click prohibited access > select restricted access > you will get a popup to enter names to allow access to. I am facing send keys issue here I tried all the options available in it but still it’s randomly missing characters to key in

You can try various options but if they do not work also take a look at doing it via VBA. Something like this

I have managed to resolve this by using Focus text feild to focus the text feild i wish to key-in for and then setting value to clipboard and writing it back in text feild by using send keys as '{Control}({V})'.

Thanks all for your help on this issue.
