I have a workflow that triggers when a user adds an item to a SharePoint list requesting time off. This is a simple list that then displays in a calendar view. I have it set to Get Manager for approval then finally create an event in the users calendar with the time off. The problem is that I have users in different time zones. Is this even possible? Some of the team members are in different countries. I have not been able to figure out how to make this work. If I set it to a certain time zone, it will be incorrect for everyone outside of that particular time zone. Is there anyway to set it up so it identifies the time zone of the user and runs accordingly?
Right now, when I create an event, first it updates the event to 5 hours prior to when I requested it. Then, when the approval triggers and it posts to my calendar, it moves 9 hours ahead. So, for example, it starts at midnight. Then, when the update occurs, it posts to the events list as 7pm (the day prior) then, finally, it posts to my calendar starting at 4am. I'm at a loss. Any input is appreciated.
