Hi,

When we procure the Power Automate Licensed version, whether the Win Automation Desktop( which is launched as a Icon in the UI Flows) would be available for use or the Power Automate Desktop (in Web) would be available?. Please clarify the same.

Thanks in Advance.

    Hi Uday,

    Thanks for your detailed clarification.

However, the reason I asked the question is because all of the features of WA is not actually available in PAD, for example, an action called "Get Items Count" is something that is missing in PAD, also, the If Condition operator is missing around 6 operators(for ex : Is empty / Is not empty, Starts With / Does Not Start With, Ends With / Does Not End With). This is something we have found as a result of our developed solution already available in WA. When we tried to migrate the solution we came to know that there is no import/export option until March 2021, hence tried to rebuild the same in PAD and found this observation. Hence,in such cases I think we have to choose WA in the absence of some key actions.

    Thanks

Hi @KarthikLohan  - both are not available if you purchased just Power Automate. RPA toolset via either UI flows, Power Automate Desktop or WinAutomation in Power Automate is an add-on and not included in Power Automate license. Next, there are 2 types of RPA licenses, unattended and attended. In both types, you can use either of the RPA toolsets, that is PAD, WinAutomation etc. There is not separate license for PAD or WinAutomation. Also, please note that any new RPA automation should be implemented in PAD unless you have a reason to stay with WinAutomation.

    Hope this helps.
