Good Morning All,
I hope all is well.  I'm using MS Power Automate Desktop and  need guidance to expand a combo box UI screen element. I tried using   'click UI element in window' and 'focus window' workflow actions to select the field (as the prerequisite to expanding the field which is a selectable list of the 50 states).  Each action creates a runtime error. I have attached pics of : the runtime error and the 'inspect' of the object (State field)  post the runtime error.  Thank you in advance for the response.

    The UI element might have changing attributes like the Id.

    That part might change every run instance

    So modify the selector to try to select the name of the combo box value rather than by Id.

    Example:

    The id might change but the Name value does not. And you can ofcourse change the name value to be dynamic if you want.

    Hi,

    Focus the field:
    Use Focus window to bring the window to the front.
    Use Move mouse to UI element (or Click) on the combo box.
    Add a small Delay (~300 ms) after focusing.
    Send keys to open the dropdown:
    {Alt}{Down}
    ➤ This simulates expanding the dropdown via keyboard.
    Send keys to select an option:
    Example: A to go to Alabama, or {Down}{Down}{Enter} to go to the second item.
