Hi there,

I'm looking into PowerApps for the first time and I'm looking to do a simple Tuck Shop type app, the user opening the app is logged in via Office 365 and selects the items, I've been able to get the user logged in via Office 365 and they can select the item but I cant get the data outputted so we can keep track on what people have purchased. So what I'm wanting if so a user to be able to click on a item like A Drink and then click on purchase and it will add the data to a master source and then allows them to continue should they purchase any more.

Any help would be most welcome..

If I have got you right, you would like a kind of shopping cart facility. You are looking at somewhere to store your data.
Depends on what you have on your office365 subscription - do you have sharepoint , would a sharepoint list suffice - that you could patch the data too ? Or are you more interested in the Common Data Service - please have a look at both solutions and this will give you a good start.

Many thanks for the reply, I currently am using a Sharepoint List to keep hold of the item names IE Coca Cola Mars bar that sort of thing, I also have created another list to hopfully store the user and information..

All I want it to do is save the user name which is coming from Office 365 and the item they selected. It would be good to have a running total on how much they have spent as well... I have the basic item list coming up on the app but I'm not sure how to have it select an item and save the information?

You could always use Patch() command to update the sharepoint list with there choices, you could use SharePoint list to update the running total. And also you use GetUser() to get the user of the app. Try GetUser in a label first of all, and when its been populated you can use the Patch command to update the data to your sharepoint list. Hope this is helpful.
